Driveway is the fastest way for teams to create and share interactive guides for all their most important workflows. Think of it like Loom, but for in-product walkthroughs.
Driveway enables you to create guided walkthroughs right in the flow of your work. We’ve built an extension that captures each step of your workflow and turns them into step-by-step guides that can be shared as screenshots or as in-product walkthroughs. Whether you want to create a system for a help center for your customers, a walk-through for Salesforce for your coworkers, or show your grandmother how to set up email filters, Driveway has you covered.
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our small, but mighty founding team and craft Driveway's world-class product experience. This is a remote-first role and our team is fully distributed. Driveway has no location or time zone preferences.
What you’ll do
- Lead the overall design direction of Driveway's product and brand identity
- Own the design of features from ideation and wireframing, to shipped and in the hands of users
- Proactively find ways to engage with users to build empathy, understand user needs, and iterate on product designs
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to bring your designs to life
- Work cross-functionally with each member of the Driveway team
- Help with hiring and establishing a design culture within Driveway
- Define the future of distributed work processes so that we can build a bold and ambitious product
About you
- You have 4+ years of product design experience—understanding user problems through research and delivering amazing digital experiences from end-to-end.
- You put users first and have a strong sense of empathy. You are excited to work on hard problems when they have a big impact on users.
- You care deeply about the quality of the product you build, but understand the balance between idealism and pragmatism. You have a desire to work in an environment which values speed of iteration and individual autonomy.
- You're a problem solver. You can think in systems and work from first principles to design a solution and take action. You have a strong desire and ability to work through ambiguity.
- You have excellent communication skills. You enjoy writing and sharing your knowledge with others. Working in the open is your default.
- You value inclusivity, collaboration, and the freedom to tackle ambitious goals while having fun.
